Meet The Therapists

JJ (Jessica Jarrard), LMHC (they/ their)
JJ received their graduate degree at the Aron Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at Assumption College in 2015. Jessica also provides training and consultation to companies seeking guidance on compliance with state regulations for treatment, especially diversity and LGBTQ+ competence training.
JJ's background includes treating alcohol and addiction issues, community based and residential treatment counseling, domestic violence advocacy and career counseling. Jessica has assisted new companies and outpatient departments in designing curriculum and implementing treatment and training programs.
Jessica describes her work, "The work I do both with private counseling clients, as well as the professional therapists I have the honor of working with, drives me each and every day. My mission as a queer therapist and trainer is to provide the best techniques and information for an individual to achieve their goals, whether in their personal lives or within the LGBTQ+ therapy community, creating a legacy of "paying it forward."

Hannah Vandermolen (they/ their)
Hannah Vandermolen, a Masters Level Clinician, has been working in the mental health field for 4+ years. They have experience working in corrections, addiction and recovery, and in residential treatment for children and adolescents with complex mental illnesses. Hannah's areas of specialization include substance abuse/ addiction and recovery, and the impact of addiction on families.
Hannah has also worked with dual diagnosis issues in adolescents and adults, trauma, depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders and the LGBTQ+ population. Such approaches as evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing help promote personal growth and self-esteem building.
Hannah holds an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CACREP Accredited) from Valparaiso University and a Graduate Merit Scholarship
She also received a B.A in Psychology & Sociology: Criminology and was awarded the Presidential Scholarship
